Our Inspection Copy service allows professors and
instructors to evaluate the suitability of books relevant to their teaching
specialties and decide whether they should be on their required reading
list. As a result we operate a gratis inspection copy service for student
books. This service is limited to bona fide professors and instructors
teaching in Canada.
A limited number of inspection copies are available
on selected Butterworths student texts. Requests for inspection copies
must meet the following criteria to be considered for approval:
- The text must directly relate to your current area
of teaching.
- The text must be under consideration for adoption.
- Your requests must be made via the Butterworths
Academic
Examination Request Form. This form must be completed in full.
Inspection Copies will be supplied on a first-come,
first-served basis while supplies last. If our stock of Inspection Copies
has been exhausted on a title, copies will be supplied at the Lecturer’s
Discount.
Publications being considered for required reading
but not on our list of Student
Titles, are available for your evaluation for 30 days,
less a special lecturer’s discount of 10%. If the book is subsequently
adopted, a refund will be provided upon receipt of an order from your
institution’s bookstore.
Please note that the issuing of free books is entirely
at the discretion of the Publisher. A maximum of three books are allowed
on inspection at any one time.
To order an Inspection Copy, please fill out
