The Law Society Directory, 2009 Edition, is the official list of lawyers and licensed paralegals of The Law Society of Upper Canada — current to September 1, 2008. It is published by LexisNexis Canada Inc. under licence from The Law Society.

The Law Society Directory, 2009 Edition, contains the names, contact information, and certified specialties of licensees in good standing with The Law Society of Upper Canada. The licensee information is as supplied by the licensees themselves to The Law Society of Upper Canada as of September 1, 2008. This information may be retrieved both alphabetically by licensee name and geographically by licensee city.

Also included in the Directory are four sections containing useful contact information for Canadian courts and tribunals, Canadian legal administration bodies, law societies, law institutes, law associations, and Canadian law schools. There is also a Professional Services section.

All sections of the Directory (except the Professional Services section) are indicated by bleed tabs.

Lawyers and Paralegals Alphabetically

Licensees in good standing with The Law Society of Upper Canada are listed alphabetically by last name in this section. Licensee information in this section includes:

• last name
• first name
• business name
• address
• telephone number (T) including extension (X)
• fax number (F)
• email address
• certified specialty(ies)

This section also includes clearly set-off paid advertisements of Canadian law firms.

Lawyers and Paralegals Geographically

The names of licensees in good standing with The Law Society of Upper Canada are listed alphabetically by city. Ontario cities and licensees appear first, alphabetically by city, and within each city alphabetically by licensee last name. Licensees in good standing outside of Ontario appear next, listed alphabetically by province/territory and city in other Canadian jurisdictions and then alphabetically by country and city in jurisdictions outside Canada.
