Annie practices exclusively in the area of family law. She is accomplished in all levels of negotiation, alternative dispute resolution and litigation. She is also trained in Collaborative Practice.
Annie's practice encompasses all issues relating to family law, such as property division (equalization), spousal support, child support, custody and access. She is accomplished in all levels of negotiation, alternative dispute resolution and litigation. Annie is experienced in negotiating and drafting all forms of domestic contracts including separation agreements, marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements.
Annie currently serves as Chair of the Ontario Bar Association, Family Law Section, having previously served on the Family Law Executive in various capacities for 6 years. She also serves as a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Family Law Section.
Annie has chaired numerous continuing legal education programs including the Ontario Bar Association’s Family Law Institute and the Ontario Bar Association’s Bread and Butter Issues in Family Law. In addition to chairing programs, Annie also lectures to lawyers, law clerks and students about various family law issues.
Annie has been a contributing writer for Practical Guidance and has volunteered for the OBA High School Mock Trials for several years. Annie is always eager to get involved in family law initiatives that will improve access to justice.
