Carol Smith

Carol Smith is a Solicitor in the Litigation Department of the City of Toronto, where she has worked exclusively since 2002. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1991. During the first 10 years of her career she was in private practice in Northern Ontario, including fly-in-only reserves. In 2011, she was appointed by the Regional Senior Justice to be a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto.

She has worked with the Law Society as a Bar Admission Course teacher, writer, tutor and marker, as well as exam writer (2004 to present).

She is a member of the Superior Court Bench and Bar and many of its countless sub-committees.

She loves the law but prefers swimming, cycling and skiing with her family.
