Eden is a lawyer with experience in estate litigation, estate and trust planning and administration, general civil litigation, and family law.

She has experience with both the drafting and administration of estate plans, and the litigation that can arise in relation to, among other matters, the validity of Wills, claims by dependents and beneficiaries, professional negligence claims against accountants and lawyers, the compensation of trustees and executors, passing of fiduciary accounts, the variation of trusts, and the removal and replacement of trustees.

Eden is a registered Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP), through the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is active in writing and speaking on issues of importance to clients and legal practitioners. She is also currently enrolled in the Master of Laws (LLM) program through Osgoode Hall, York University.

While in law school, Eden received the Borden Ladner Gervais Research Fellowship and co-authored an academic journal article with now Senator W. Brent Cotter on the importance of legal ethics and professional responsibility education in Canadian law schools. She was also co-editor-in-chief of the Saskatchewan Law Review.

She then received a Law Foundation of Ontario articling Fellowship by which she articled for the Public Interest Advocacy Centre in Ottawa and was principal author of a report on consumer and public interests in the wireless industry.

Since her call to the bar in 2011, Eden has practiced with LLF Lawyers LLP in Peterborough, with Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP in Ottawa, and as a sole practitioner.
