Faren has significant expertise helping clients navigate through a broad range of complex disputes. Faren has appeared before all levels of the Ontario Superior Court and Federal Court.

Faren uses a practical approach when handling disputes and is able to identify issues and work with her clients to provide innovative solutions.  She is dedicated to guiding her clients through the whole process from contract formation, strategy, and if necessary litigation.  It is this approach that has led to Faren successfully solving and resolving a myriad of concerns and disputes on behalf of her clients.

Faren is committed to the construction industry and is a former director of the Canadian Association of Women in Construction. She has also taught the Law and Construction Contracts course at George Brown College, School of Construction Management and Trades, and School of Architectural Studies.

Faren is a director of Brenyon Way Charitable Foundation and Ridgeford Charitable Foundation; not for profit organizations that provide quality affordable housing to residents of the City of Toronto.

Faren is also the Chair of WeirFoulds Women, a program focused on promoting a positive, successful and diverse working environment.
