Frédéric Duguay is General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Canada Infrastructure Bank. Prior to joining Canadian Infrastructure Bank, he was a Partner at Hansell LLP and prior to that he was a Senior Legal Counsel in the Mergers & Acquisitions Team of the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission. His operational responsibilities included advising the Commission on matters concerning takeover bids, issuer bids, conflict of interest transactions and proxy-related matters.

Frédéric Duguay is General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Canada Infrastructure Bank. Frédéric also participated in various Canadian Securities Administrators' ("CSA") policy-development initiatives related to corporate governance and shareholder democracy issues including acting as committee chair for the revision of the executive compensation disclosure requirements. More recently, he led the implementation of the Canadian regulatory regime for credit rating agencies and contributed to the review of the proxy voting infrastructure. Frédéric also authored the CCH Canadian Securities Law Reporter commentary on corporate governance.
