Ilana is the Content Lawyer for the Personal Injury Law module of Lexis Practice Advisor. She is an experienced personal injury practitioner and, prior to joining LexisNexis, practiced both in plaintiff personal injury and insurance defence at two of Toronto's leading firms. Her practice covered all facets of personal injury law and insurance defence including litigation, mediation and negotiation.

Ilana is the Content Lawyer for the Personal Injury module of Lexis Practice Advisor. Prior to joining LexisNexis, Ilana practiced both in plaintiff personal injury and insurance defence at two of Toronto's leading litigation firms, representing clients with complex and straightforward matters in litigation, mediation and negotiation. Her practice covered all facets of personal injury including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, accident benefits, STD and LTD benefits and defending the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund.

In addition to her background in personal injury law, Ilana has experience in the non-profit and public sectors, having worked as a legal student for the Queensland Pro Bono Legal Clinic in Brisbane, Australia while completing her law degree.
