James Jennings practices in all areas of management-side labour and employment law with a particular focus on issues related to construction labour relations, occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation matters. Outside of practice, James is a co-author or contributor for numerous legal publications and serves as the Newsletter Editor for the Ontario Bar Association’s Labour and Employment Law Section Executive for the 2020-2021 term.

James practices in all areas of management-side labour and employment law, with a particular focus on construction labour relations, occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation matters.

James regularly advises employers on a full range of labour, employment and human rights matters. Whether it’s representation in the context of litigation, guidance through an alternative dispute resolution process or the provision of day-to-day advice, James provides clients with timely and effective support.

Outside of practice, James is active within the legal community and legal education projects. He writes and speaks about a wide range of legal issues related to labour and employment law. Most notably, James is a co-author or contributor on numerous legal publications and serves as the Newsletter Editor for the Ontario Bar Association’s Labour and Employment Section Executive for the 2020-2021 term.

Hina currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Hamilton Community Legal Clinic and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Industry Education Council of Hamilton.
