Joe Bricker is a lawyer at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Toronto. He has a broad business law practice which focuses on corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions (public and private), and corporate governance.
He writes frequently on topics in his areas of practice, and his writing has been featured in various venues, including the Globe and Mail
In law school, Joe won the Gale Cup Moot, arguing in the final; was on the winning team at the 2015 Commonwealth Moot in Glasgow, Scotland; and mooted in the University of Toronto's Grand Moot. He volunteered for the University of Toronto's legal clinic, Downtown Legal Services. He also won the Osgoode Society Legal History Book Prize.
Before attending law school at the University of Toronto, Joe gained experience working in federal and provincial politics, holding positions in the Office of the Prime Minister and the Office of the Leader of the Opposition (Ontario).
