Laura practises in all areas of labour and employment law, with a particular focus on employment litigation. Laura has acted as counsel in wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights proceedings, and grievance arbitrations. Laura has a particular interest in complex wrongful dismissal claims involving departing executives and breaches of restrictive covenants, such as confidentiality, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses. She has experience assisting on injunctions and employment-related shareholder disputes.

Laura joined Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP as an associate in 2018 after practicing with a national full-service law firm for two years.

Laura provides strategic advice in employment litigation and labour relations matters. Laura has a particular interest in complex wrongful dismissal claims involving departing executives and breaches of restrictive covenants, such as confidentiality, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses. She has experience assisting on injunctions and employment-related shareholder disputes.

As part of Laura's pro bono work, she has volunteered her time as duty counsel at Pro Bono Law Ontario and with Innocence Canada.

Prior to joining Filion Wakely Thorup Angelletti LLP, Laura's litigation practice included employment, human rights and constitutional matters.
