Nick Kangles' practice, both while in-house and in private practice, has focused primarily on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on private company share and asset acquisitions and divestitures and the development of energy projects, including pipelines, processing facilities, LNG plants, oil sands projects, export terminals, upgraders and power plants. He has worked in-house for significant energy companies, in both senior legal and business roles. He has also been a partner in major national and international law firms, including most recently Stikeman Elliott and Norton Rose Fulbright. Until his recent retirement from the full-time practice of law, Nick served as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Pembina Pipeline Corporation.
