Surinder has exclusively practised family law since her call to the bar in 2016. Surinder is a strong advocate, with experience in representing clients at all levels of Court in Ontario, including two Ontario Court of Appeal cases that addressed jurisdictional and retroactive child support issues.
Surinder offers her clients a variety of skills, knowledge and expertise to assist them in moving forward following the breakdown of a relationship or marriage, including in the areas of custody, access, support and property claims disputes.
Surinder has also assisted clients with complex issues pertaining to interjurisdictional support orders, the Hague Convention and Formal Customary Care Agreements with a First Nation Community.
