COMMERCIAL 

• The Commercial Module contains expanded content regarding competition laws in Canada.
• Check out the rare online Municipal and Land Use Planning content designed specifically for Ontario municipalities! The content covers items such as municipal powers, including expropriation powers over privately-owned land.

CORPORATE 

• Review the new subtopic on Incorporation and Organization under the B.C. Societies Act , including a comprehensive Incorporation Checklist.

EMPLOYMENT 

• Consult the new practice note about Prejudgment and Postjudgment Interest in Ontario , which reviews parties' entitlement to prejudgment and postjudgment interest and provides information on how to calculate it, what rate to use, and what dates to use.
• The Wrongful Dismissal Damages subtopic has been updated to include the landmark Galea v Wal-mart case, which awarded an unprecedent amount of extraordinary damages, successfully argued by LPA's author on this subtopic, Natalie MacDonald.

• Ontario: Consult the new subtopic on Confidentiality Orders , covering sealing orders, publication bans, initializing the proceedings and more.
• British Columbia: Don't miss the Legislative Update on amendments to the Child, Family and Community Service Act.

FINANCE 

• The Finance Quarterly Report - Q2 2018 was recently released and the associated Deal Comparator and Key Provision Comparator Smart Charts were updated to include these reports.
• A new Lender Liability toolkit was recently added.
• Simplify your drafting, with 12 new clauses in the Lending topic.

SECURITIES 

• The Cannabis topic was recently updated to reflect the legalization of recreational cannabis in Canada and the current legal framework. The topic includes information on the Legal Framework and Business Issues Surrounding Cannabis .
• The Private Placements topic was recently updated to reflect the current state of the law and includes a new practice note on OSC Rule 72-503 .

WILLS, TRUSTS & ESTATES
