1. INTRODUCING HEATHER ROBERTSON

Heather Robertson is the Content Lawyer for the Intellectual Property and Technology module of Lexis Practice Advisor Canada. Prior to joining LexisNexis Heather practiced at Smart & Biggar in Toronto and was exposed to many different practice areas including trademark prosecution, marketing and advertising law, pharmaceutical regulatory matters, litigation, and technology law.

FUN FACT!

Heather mastered the skill of karaoke while teaching English in South Korea for a year after undergrad. Her favourite karaoke songs include Sweet Caroline and Bohemian Rhapsody.

EMPLOYMENT

  • The Wrongful Dismissal Damages subtopic has been updated to include the landmark Galea v Wal-mart case, which awarded an unprecedent amount of extraordinary damages, successfully argued by LPA's author on this subtopic, Natalie MacDonald.
